10:15 – 11: 00am Presentation: Are your Key Employees Protected?  Understanding Gaps in Your Disability Plan, presented by Armbruster Executive & Employee Benefits

Description: Group Long Term Disability is a wonderful benefit to protect an employees’ income in the event of sickness or injury.  However, due to the nature of group programs we often see the owners, executives, and key employees left with a gap in income replacement coverage due to their high incomes.  Learn how we can help close this gap before a disability occurs.  Guarantee issue Individual Disability plans allow key employees, executives, and business owners to qualify for additional coverage up to a true 60% to 80% total income replacement without underwriting.  These enhanced benefits can also be part of a key employee recruitment and retention strategy.

Presenter: Lori Lance is the Managing Partner at Armbruster Executive & Employee Benefits. She serves as the visionary of the organization as well as oversees all operations, while continuing to serve many of her own long-time clients.  Lori is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a B.S. in Management. She lives in the East Metro and in her spare time is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys kayaking, cycling and hiking.

Presenter: Courtney Kastelic is on a mission to ensure individuals, families, and business owners have the protection they need when facing the unexpected.  Courtney has been with Principal Financial Groups Benefits and Protection Division for the last nine years and is currently the Regional Vice President of Individual Disability Sales for Minnesota and the Dakotas.  Courtney is originally from Arizona where she graduated from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking or on a lake in the Minnesota Summers.
