First National Bank of Moose Lake Location: Moose Lake, MN Job Title: Loan Operations Specialist Overview: The Loan Operations Specialist will assist with preparing loan documents for closing of consumer, commercial, and real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding in a timely and professional manner while providing a high level of customer service. This position will also assist with loan maintenance, loan application updates and training, and updating procedures. Responsibilities: • Review loan applications and verify data to ensure completeness and accuracy of applications • Request any required documents from customers • Prepare closing packets, disburse, and finalize loan • Processes loan recording, filing and origination fees to general ledger accounts. • Assist with resolving loan documentation issues with lending team • Responsible for calculating new payments and adjusting for customers’ tax and insurance escrow accounts as well as make payments appropriately. • Enters information into the loan tickler system regarding future action needed such as obtaining additional documentation, financial statements, etc. • Collaborate on problem solving and process improvements efforts to maintain and continuously improve loan operations policy, procedure, and performance • Receive and respond to customer inquiries and concerns and will handle daily transactions and questions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures Requirements: Required: High School diploma or equivalent with two-four years of customer service and loan administrative/processing experience. Candidate must have strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a positive attitude and high level of business professionalism, along with proficient computer skills with various software programs and Microsoft Office. Confidentiality is also required, along with excellent time management skills. Preferred: Associates degree in business, finance or accounting or related field and four to six years of loan experience with MPF, consumer, and commercial lending or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience with LaserPro, Sageworks, and bank core systems.
