First National Bank of Moose Lake Location: Moose Lake, MN Job Title: Loan Officer Overview: The Loan Officer is responsible for generating, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of consumer and/or commercial loans in compliance with the bank’s lending policies and procedures. The Loan Officer will also be responsible for the credit decisions, overall credit quality, and interest and fee income. Responsibilities: Responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships with new and current customers. Managing loan portfolio, including credit quality, credit approval, and high level customer service. Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations, and approve loans within credit authority. Monitor loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problems. Requirements: Required: Associates degree in accounting, finance, business management, or related field with one to three years of experience in lending, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management, or related field with three to five years of experience in lending, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Member of professional career organizations related to banking and consumer lending.
