Job Title:
Loan Portfolio Coordinator

Overview:
Grand Rapids State Bank, family-owned community bank, has an opening for an experienced Loan Portfolio Coordinator. The primary responsibilities will include managing the business, personal and real estate loan files to ensure the files are in order, filed correctly and presentable. This position will also assist the Business Banking team in their sales efforts regarding all business-related bank products and services. Applicants should possess strong communication and computer skills. Candidate must also have excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support and service to major business accounts •Ensure files are organized and up-to-date •Ensure commercial appraisals received by the bank have had a second review and have been accepted •Facilitate the delivery of bank services for major business account holders as requested •Maintain a high level of business banking products and service knowledge Manage commercial, consumer and real estate loan files •Ensure files are organized and up-to-date with all necessary documentation •Obtain UCC filings, the bank’s lien cards for automobiles, boats and any other titled chattel loans •Monitor customer financial information and obtain necessary financial information for loan files (personal and business tax returns, monthly or annual statements if required, annual personal financial statements, month’s borrowing summaries, base certificates, if required) •Manage the bank’s repossession log •Scan all required documents for loan files Provide support to loan officers to complete loan files •Compose letters requesting necessary documents •Correspond with insurance agents via phone and email •Work with the Lenders and Credit Analyst to make sure communication regarding financial information is disseminated to the appropriate people Manage mandatory bank filings •Prepare and scan loan documents •Make sure ticklers are set for UCC expirations and making sure the bank is always maintaining its security interest

Requirements:
1-3 years of previous loan processing experience preferred.
