Operations Support Specialist

Overview:
Operations Support Specialist United Bankers’ Bank has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Specialist on our Operations team. This individual provides consistent, exceptional customer service to all UBB respondents and is able to support UNET.web & UNETexchange (UBB’s online banking product and image exchange network) users by being knowledgeable of all aspects of the online banking system & check image systems. Provides backup for other staff positions as dictated by absences or other circumstances that may arise. Performs accurate online data entry and data program enactment to ensure established deadlines are met. Individual will need to be available to work the following shifts on a rotating basis: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Position is on-site at our Bloomington office. Work from home opportunities may be available on a rotating basis after initial training period.

Responsibilities:
Essential Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. • Performs UNET.web/UNETexchange processing, research, reconciliation (ACH/LDRIN/Check Adjustments/Cash Letters) and prepares entries to DDA accounts as needed. • Uploads and verifies file transfers to and from various sources. • Assists customers with product utilization • Answers incoming calls and/or requests, troubleshoots, solves problems and provides resolution to customers or other team members within the contracted scope of support for each client. • Handles respondent institution DDA account inquiries. Investigates questions in regard to account postings & procedures. • Assists with finger print & security administration. • Provides support to staff and members on special projects • Other duties as apparent or assigned.

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • AAP & NCP certification preferred • Associate’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience • 3 years bank operations/reconcilement experience whereby incumbent has gained a solid background/experience in the overall functions of an operations department to include payment operations, returned and proof items • Excellent customer service experience with a minimum of 3 years working with customer relations • Experience with imaging systems and printing IRD’s • MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and other windows software applications
