Minnesota Lakes Bank Location: Delano & Mound, MN Job Title: Teller Manager Overview: Minnesota Lakes Bank has an opening for an experienced Teller Manager. The main responsibilities of the position include supervising the teller operations areas, preparing work schedules, training staff, conducting performance reviews, opening new accounts, performing account maintenance & cross-selling bank products. The candidate must be willing to travel between and work from both bank locations in Delano and Mound. Five years of prior teller & management experience required. Responsibilities: Manage Tellers • Provide leadership and supervision • Prepare and maintain teller work schedules • Develop performance and sales goals • Prepare performance evaluations • Ensures conformance with overall bank policies • Provide on-going training including product knowledge and sales development • Conduct teller meetings • Assist tellers to resolve drawer offages • Build morale and employee unity • Conduct teller audits • Open and close bank as scheduled, following security guidelines Execute teller security procedures • Process teller transactions as needed • Conduct daily balancing of cash drawer to ensure accuracy • Verify cash bought or sold to or from vault • Maintain adequate cash and coin supply Process new accounts to expand customer base • Open new accounts following bank policy • Orient new customers to bank products and services • Maintain and update accurate account information • Recommend or cross-sell other bank products and services Assist customers • Investigate and/or respond to customer questions regarding ATM and debit card problems • Respond to customer inquiries regarding account-related issues or bank policies • Assist, as needed, in routing telephone calls to the appropriate person or department • Provide or identify methods for improving customer service Customer service standards • Manage and maintain customer service standards per company policy Community involvement • Participate in community events and organizations that improve the quality of life in the communities we serve Perform other duties as directed by management Requirements: Five years of prior teller & management experience required.
