Overview:
Provides analysis, recommendation, and implementation for a fully integrated hardware, software, and networked environment. Provides security, support, and maintenance for all IT systems. Assists with IT-related projects and implementations. Assist employees with technology-related issues and requests.

Responsibilities:
Network management and operating system analysis • LAN/WAN support: system and network analysis, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of organization’s communication systems • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot workstations, servers, and e-mail systems, along with relevant operating systems and third-party applications • Application/database implementation and maintenance; evaluate vendor systems, recommend and install new systems, and maintain current systems • Maintain and program phone system including voicemail and extensions Network security • Monitor security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems • Manage systems and schedules for keeping workstations and servers current with security patches and hot fixes (includes testing patches and documenting results) • Monitor daily intrusion prevention alerts. Schedule regular internal/external vulnerability scans, analyze results, and mitigate security issues • Monitor and maintain all network hardware and equipment, including routers, firewalls, switches, hubs, and UPS’s Recovery management • Manage daily backup and storage of all critical systems • Practice asset management, including inventory of servers, workstations, printers, and network components • Prepare, maintain, and adhere to procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring network data • Develop, maintain, and ensure accuracy of manuals, procedures, and network diagrams • Configure and maintain testing lab for servers, workstations, and applications • Perform and maintain the information technologies business continuity plan as the plan’s departmental coordinator End user support and other duties • End user support • Remain current and informed regarding new and emerging technologies that impact the bank’s operations and the banking industry • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts • Evaluate and recommend the purchase of networking hardware and software products • Enhance employee efficiency and effectiveness by helping users improve computer skills and introducing new techniques • Maintain an accurate, current database for documenting help desk calls and problem resolutions • As needed, provide computer related support to internet banking customers Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Education: • Two-year computer-related associate of arts degree or technical certificate; four-year degree preferred. Minimum Experience: • Minimum of five to seven years systems administration experience required. Solid understanding of complex networking environments and network security. Working knowledge of various hardware and software platforms, and computer peripheral devices. Banking experience preferred. Credentials: • Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or CompTIA certifications are desirable.
