Job Title:
Compliance & BSA Officer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Compliance & BSA professional to head our Compliance team at our St. Louis Park location. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Compliance & BSA Officer provides support in the development and administration of the Bank’s compliance and BSA programs. Under minimal supervision, this position will develop, implement, and monitor various aspects of the Bank’s compliance and BSA programs and communicate with all staff levels. Viable candidates would have one or more of the following experiences: financial institution regulatory compliance testing or monitoring, BSA reporting and filing, regulatory examiner, and/or bank internal audit.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct scheduled monitoring/review activities; loans, deposits, and miscellaneous compliance requirements • Communicate verbally and in writing with reviewees up to the Board of Directors; draft reports and obtain responses to findings • Manage compliance finding resolution • Subject Matter Expert, as assigned, for loan and deposit regulatory compliance, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Fair Lending, and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) • Conduct Suspicious Activity Report reviews and prepare filings • Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence monitoring and analysis activities associated with BSA and OFAC compliance, making risk-based decisions. • Leverage technology and implement technology enhancements • Respond to Compliance & Bank BSA questions from staff • Train Bank staff on Compliance, BSA and OFAC topics • Contribute to satisfactory internal and external audits and examinations • Assist in developing, monitoring, and updating the Bank’s compliance & BSA related policies and procedures • Serve on applicable regulatory and technology implementation teams • Currency Transaction Reporting • Exemptions • Monetary Instruments • High risk questionnaires • 314(a) • HIDTA/HIFCA • Possible Expansion into Cannabis Banking • Office of Foreign Assets • Maintain current knowledge of all applicable BSA and OFAC statutes, regulations, and interpretations

Requirements:
• 5 to 7 years of bank compliance audit/review/monitoring, BSA or internal audit experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience preferred: Fiserv, Abrigo BAM+ • Working knowledge of regulatory banking regulations and bank operations, practices, and processes • Experience in researching, evaluating, interpreting, and communicating laws and regulations • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking ability, accuracy, and meeting deadlines, collaborate in a team environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
