Why a new name and why now?
After an in depth process of strategic planning, brand building exercises, naming research and competitive analysis it became clear that now is the right time to make a change. Our industry is highly competitive and rapidly evolving and we feel this name gives our organization the best chance of sustained growth in this environment and for years to come.
The other piece that I want to bring to your attention is that “Bankin Minnesota” is not only our name but it is a call to action for the public and everyone that sees our name and hears our message. BankIn Minnesota helps us stand out and will help us tell the community banking story!
So, what does this mean for you?
As members, you will be able to leverage this new name to drive public awareness in your communities and across the state of Minnesota. In the near future, we will be sharing more information about customizable marketing materials, website updates and public awareness campaigns.
Our full transition to BankIn Minnesota will happen over a number of months so you will see both names for a while. As we do this work, the best place to stay up to date will be through the Be Involved Weekly Email for members. This email is your one stop shop for updates on the brand transition and all member info.
